Mr. Opaleye hails from Ado-Odo in Ado-odo/Ota LG, Ogun State. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics & Education (2nd Class Upper) in 1996 from Delta State University, Abraka. A 1999 Post Graduate Diploma graduate of Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos. Mr. Opaleye also possesses an MBA (HRM) from National Open University, Nigeria. He worked at various times as a teacher before joining the services of the Board in December, 1999 as its substantive Administrative Officer (1999 – 2005). Head, Personnel & Pension (2005 – 2012), had a brief stint as the substantive Administrative Officer of the Institute of Radiography, training arm of the Board (March 2012), Head Kano Zonal Office (2nd April – 1st August, 2012).
As an educationist and administrator of many years of experience, his elevation to the post of Head Administration on the 2nd of August, 2012 is to say the least an appointment well deserved. A member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, he possesses great skills in Personnel Management and Pension Administration. Apart from the fact that he exudes confidence and intelligence in the discharge of his duties, he is simple and humble. Mr. Opaleye is a man full of energy and an embodiment of character and competence; he is a man of dodged courage, vision and discipline. Mr. Opaleye is hardworking and enterprising. He is happily married with children.
